Consumers who considered purchasing a Match subscription generally were unaware that as many as 25 to 30 percent of Match members who register each day are using Match to attempt to perpetrate scams, including romance scams, phishing schemes, fraudulent advertising, and extortion scams. In some months between 2013 and 2016, more than half of the instant messages and favorites that consumers received came from accounts that Match identified as fraudulent, according to the complaint.
The FTC kissbrides.com verkkosivut is suing Match and her subsidiaries for massive fraud. So the biggest scammers are not fake profiles but the dating sites themselves!
So many FAKE Profiles!
Profile ID #’s are sequential, as thousands of fake profiles are generated and banned/abandonned, the number goes up. Currently anything over 290M, especially 295M #’s are probably fake. That’s where its at right now. It’s one of the indicators I use to tell whether or not a profile is real. New profile, 99% probability it is fake.
So many FAKE Profiles!
POF knows that there are many fake profile females and lets them stay with fake ages and fake names trying to bait men to porn web site POF bans men at the drop of a hat but lets women say or do what ever they want
Another thing I have noticed you get these people who ever they are and all day long all night long on whose has viewed you when you sign on there they are you cant block them if you send a message asking what is your issue and check your sent messages they are not blocked I get these so called women that put age 50 or 60 and you can see they are far younger when you report them POF doesn’t ban them and will ban you for reporting them
So many FAKE Profiles!
Women make the effort to report but only when absolutely sure and never after talking with them unless scammed for real but otherwise just proven fake pic and names that don’t match, guys are more emotional and report when they feel the person they spoke to was fake which results in real women getting booted and it also goes both ways but just not so often.
Single, or paying for it on dating sites where another problem may be created with those who pay for finding love and those who pay to receive it each and every night assuming the finder is desperate.
Really need my local pub to put up its single regulars profile for the online pub crawling for love..lol guaranteed to be real but the obligation of a pint charge will apply, plus that annoying. Had to be a 35mile drive to the nearest doable bar. lol
So many FAKE Profiles!
Hey Ladies..keep one thing in mind as you treat guys like disposable toys. go to silversingles or ourtime. and see how many eligible guys are left.
I see “Im too picky” or “Too Far Away” from someone who is 30 minutes away all the time as an excuse. Well when you hit that 50+ mark and less guys are emailing you, and then you start lying about your age. Some of those guys you dicked over now dont look so bad. do they. As time wears on guys die off faster than women and we know it. So when the tables turn and youre left with your cats. think about that guy you blocked because he was 30 minutes away instead of down the street.
So many FAKE Profiles!
It’s not just 30 minutes most of the time. With traffic, a lot of these guys are an hour away or more. Some people can’t manage that. I’m not driving an hour just to meet someone for the first time, in an area I don’t know well, and I don’t expect a man to do that either. You don’t know what you’re getting yourself into at first.
I’ve had two fakes in two days, one guy who’s just on there to sell “services,” and one who seemed suspicious. You can’t blame us for being cautious. If you don’t want an instant block, don’t ask for a phone number right away, take a real picture instead of half your face or one that looks like you don’t care about your appearance, and don’t say, “I’d move for the right person” (an automatic red flag). Instead of sour grapes, try being understanding of the necessary caution that we must all practice these days.
